From central London catch a train from Charing Cross, Waterloo (East), London Bridge or Cannon Street. Journey time from Charing Cross to Greenwich is about 15 minutes. Trains only run to or from Charing Cross and Waterloo (East) during morning and evening rush hours. At other times take a train to London Bridge and change to one starting from Cannon Street. About six trains per hour run between London Bridge and Greenwich at off-peak times.
Use TFL to help plan your journey.
The park is easily accessible by both foot and cycle. Cycle parking is available in the park.
We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. There is a baggage label attached to your number that you can tear off and attach to your bag. To collect, all you have to do is hand over your number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your baggage.
Greenwich Park itself has two sets of toilets they are a little walk from the Start/Finish so we recommend you take this into account, we have opened them up so there will be no charge for using them.
There will be water provided at the 5k point of the race, and there will also be water available at the finish alongside your post race goodies!
During the race
We will have marshals all around the course as well as km signs and arrows. The course is 3 laps for the 10k on the roads/paths in the park. Please be aware that there will be spectators and members of the public walking around the park on their weekend walk, please be mindful of people, dogs and cyclists.
In terms of spectating, this park could literally not be any better, the fields are open and every area of the park is accessible to see people running round.
Results will be available on www.runthrough.co.uk after the race.
We will have a photographer taking a few snaps of the race and they will be on Facebook after the race so be sure to check it out and see if you can spot yourself.
Things to note!
There WILL be pedestrians on the paths. We recommend you do not use earphones and you need to pay close attention to everything around you. Please be aware of pedestrians, dogs and cyclists.
