Here at RunThrough we are always looking for likeminded people to join our community. With over 200 races across the country, we are always on the lookout for extra support. Give a morning, feel the buzz of race day from the other side of the barrier, and earn race credit or a kit voucher as a thank you.

After each event you volunteer at, we send you a code. Pick your preference when you sign up; the value depends on the distance of the race you help at.

How it works
Four steps to race day

Sign up
Pick the events you can help at and tell us a little about yourself. It takes two minutes.

Join the WhatsApp group
Every event has a WhatsApp group where all event details, last-minute changes and on-the-day communication happen. Joining is mandatory.

Help on the day
Arrive at the time given for your shift, sign in at the information desk and we will allocate you a position: registration, bag drop, water station, course marshal and more.

Get your reward
In the week after the event we email you a race credit or kit voucher code as a thank you for your time.
What your time is worth
One reward per event volunteered. You choose race credit or kit when you sign up.

On the day
Job roles
No experience needed, just bring your energy. Sign in at the information desk when you arrive and we will put you where you are needed most.
Registration
Hand out race numbers and welcome runners on arrival.
Bag drop
Look after runners' bags while they are out on the course.
Water station
Keep runners topped up and cheered on out on the course.
Course marshal
Point runners the right way and keep the route safe.
Finish line
Hand over medals and celebrate every finisher.
Tail runner
Run at the back so nobody finishes alone.
We are always looking for new members to join our team so please get in touch!
We welcome support from individuals along with running clubs and organisations.
Volunteer as an individual
Pick the events you can make, join the WhatsApp group and turn up on the day. Every event you help at earns race credit or a kit voucher of your choosing.
Volunteer as a group
To show our gratitude for your time, organised groups get a monetary donation to their organisation or club. If you would like to register a group from your club or organisation then please email us.

Our regulars have helped at twenty-plus events each. Every volunteer is counted on the leaderboard, so your first race day starts your own tally.
