Event Information
Swindon Half Marathon Course
Take on the Swindon Half Marathon, a challenging and varied 13.1 mile route that combines fast, flatter sections with a testing climb through the middle of the race.
The opening miles are relatively gentle, giving you the chance to settle into your rhythm before the course begins to rise from around mile 7. The biggest challenge comes between approximately miles 8 and 10, with a sustained climb taking you towards the highest point of the course around mile 13. As you reach the top, take a moment to soak up the fantastic views across Swindon and the surrounding countryside, a well earned reward for the climb!
From there, the route drops away towards the finish, giving you the perfect opportunity to pick up the pace and finish strong. The final stretch brings you towards the lake, providing a scenic and memorable setting as you make your way to the finish line and celebrate your achievement.
There will be three water stations along the course, positioned approximately every 5km/3 miles, giving you plenty of opportunities to stay hydrated and keep you moving towards the finish.
Prepare for the climb, enjoy the views and finish strong!
