In support of Demelza

We're delighted to have Demelza as our 2026 Charity of the Year. Demelza is the local children’s hospice, they are reliant on the support of their communities. Join Demelza at the start line and together we can make a real difference. To sign up to run for them, click here

We are excited to bring Tonbridge running back to the streets with support from Tonbridge Rotary Club and Tonbridge Lions. Start at The Judd School and head out on a marked and measured single loop through the Kent countryside. This is a picturesque route with great spectator spots and a lively finish to celebrate your run.

Expect stocked water stations, entertainment on course, and communities of cheering supporters along the way. Friendly marshals will guide you at every key point and chip timing will capture your effort from start to finish

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags, and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to Run Kent 2026.

Event Information

The route will be run on closed tarmac roads surrounding Tunbridge, starting and finishing outside The Judd School.

ADDRESS Judd School, Brook St, Tonbridge TN9 2PN GETTING THERE By Car: Get the full directions here By Train: Tonbridge train station is approximately a 10-minute walk from the event site. PARKING The Judd School is located just out of Tonbridge, off the A26. If driving to the event, please plan in advance as local parking options will fill up quickly. We recommend you use parkopedia.co.uk to find a suitable parking spot. Please note there is no parking at the school. Tonbridge train station is located just 0.5miles from the event village (10min walk). Please check rail times ahead of the race as Sunday services might be limited.

Event Village Opens

Baggage

We will have a secure room where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

Toilets will be provide within the event village and there will also be toilets on the half marathon course. Please follow the signs and queues are most likely to build in the final half hour before the start, so go early!

Water & Refreshments

The half marathon will pass a water station 3 times, the 10k once and there is not a water station on the 5k course. All runners will receive a bottle of water at the finish.

Race Pack Collection

Half Marathon - 7:30am - 8:30am

10km - 8:00am - 9:00am

5km - 8:15am - 9:15am

Warm-Up & Race Start

There will be a group warm-up 15 minutes prior to the start of each race. From here, we will call out estimated finish times to get all runners lined up and ready to run.

Cut-Off

HM — 3 hrs

10k — Email in over 1.5 hours

5k — Email in over 1 hour

There will be a 3 hour cut-off for this event due to the road closures. If you think you may take longer than the cut-off time, please email info@runthrough.co.uk before the event so we can advise on the options. We want everyone to finish, and knowing in advance lets us keep the course and marshals in place for you where we can.

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish along Brook Street.

Accessibility

Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome. Please remain mindful of the runners around you and make yourself known should you need to overtake. Dogs are not permitted to run at this event, however spectators are welcome to have their dog within the event village if kept on a lead at all times.
