About This Event

Join us for the Gainsborough Half Marathon & 10K on Sunday 1st November 2026!

Take on a brilliant day of road-closed racing through the Lincolnshire countryside. Starting and finishing at Sturgate Airfield near Gainsborough, both the Half Marathon and 10K follow single-lap routes on flat roads, perfect for finding your rhythm and enjoying the scenery with strong local support.

You will head out from Sturgate Airfield onto quiet country roads, passing open farmland and village stretches before returning to the finish line in the heart of the village. The course is clearly marked with friendly marshals throughout, creating a welcoming experience for first-timers and seasoned runners alike.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to Gainsborough 10k & Half Marathon.
