Join us for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 5K & 10K on Saturday 16th January 2027!

Start your 2027 running year with a fast and inspiring race through North Park at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Choose from the 5K or 10K and take on a flat, chip-timed course through the incredible grounds of one of London’s most iconic sporting venues. Whether you’re chasing an early-year PB or enjoying a fresh winter race morning, this event is a brilliant way to kick off your running calendar.

Each kilometre will be clearly marked with distance signs, with friendly marshals on hand to guide and encourage you to the finish. Your entry includes a unique themed medal, water and post-race goodies.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park!

With RunThrough you can expect a friendly team of marshals to help guide you round the course and cheer you on to the finish, a lively and well-serviced event village with plenty of food and drink options including free goodies from our partners at the finish line after your hard effort.

Event Information

This course is not only flat and fast, but also inspiring. The RunThrough Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 5k & 10k event is a great opportunity for a quick time and a fun morning out with a unique themed medal waiting for you at the finish!

Marshals are positioned all around the course, with distance signs and arrows throughout. Listen for marshal instructions and be aware of the signage in place, especially where different distances diverge and rejoin. Please note that the Olympic Park will be open to the general public during the event, so we ask you to be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Baggage

There will be a bag drop area located inside the Timber Lodge Cage, Room B.

Toilets

There will be on-site toilets located at Timberlodge Cafe where the Event Village is located.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water provided on each lap of the course, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.

Race Pack Collection

08:00-09:00

Warm-Up & Race Start

There will be a group warm-up 15 minutes prior to the start of each race. From here, we will call out estimated finish times to get all runners lined up and ready to run.

Spectators are encouraged to come down and support the participants. The best spot to watch is next to the event village, where you will see runners start and finish, along with them passing on every lap of the course.

Accessibility

We welcome buggy runners and wheelchair athletes and simply ask that you remain mindful of the runners around you and make yourself known should you need to overtake them.
