We are excited to introduce to you our  BRAND NEW RTTrails event, and our first ever event in Switzerland!

THE ENGLEBERG VERICAL KM, 25KM, 56KM & 100KM

Located 25km South of Lucerne, the picturesque town of Engelberg almost doesn’t seem real. The cobbled streets, beautiful Swiss hotels and 900-year-old Benedictine Monastery are surrounded by rolling green pastures, out of which rise the titanic glaciated mountain peaks. This valley is truly magical and with 500km of trails to choose from you will not be disappointed.

We have combined runnable trails with big elevation to create a range of challenges to suit everyone’s running aspirations. The routes don’t involve any exposed or heavily technical sections. Despite big elevation, the trails are very runnable, ideal for runners branching out into the European trail running scene.

Our Vertical Race opens the weekend-long event and takes you from town to the Brunni gondola station for a well-deserved Apres-Trail party!

The 25K, 56K, and 100K routes all pass through the stunning Fürenalp valley before heading out towards Brunni and beyond. The trails are immaculate and the terrain is truly world-class. The phrase ‘hidden gem’ doesn’t even get close…

 
 
Start Times:
Vertical Race: Friday 22nd August @ 18:00  (3hr cut-off)
100K: Saturday 23rd August @ 06:00  (24hr cut-off)
25K: Saturday 23rd August @ 10:00  (8hr cut-off)
56K: Sunday 24th August @ 08:00  (14hr cut-off)
