Warrington Running Festival – Sunday 25th September 2022!
We are proud to announce that the Warrington Running Festival will be the RunThrough Foundation’s inaugural race. Entry to the event will be balloted and is completely FREE. Postcode priority will be offered to 8,000 runners across the 10km and Half Marathon distances.
Hometown of RunThrough co-founder Ben Green, the Warrington Running Festival is an opportunity to give back to the town that has supported his lifelong running journey. In partnership with the Warrington Borough Council, the RunThrough Foundation team aims to transform the community’s approach to active and healthy living by providing access to all.

The RunThrough Foundation removes barriers to entry for low-income neighbourhoods by offering FREE, large-scale running events. These are accessible via a free balloted system with postcode priority for thousands of participants.
Our support doesn’t end at the finish line. We also actively promote and support participation in running programmes and workshops in the communities in which we hold our events. These continue throughout the year, completely free of charge.
The RunThrough Foundation ‘open’ concept will expand to a new town each year, enabling everyone to get involved.
