Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Warrington Running Festival.

With RunThrough you can expect a friendly team of marshals to help guide you round the course and cheer you on to the finish, a lively and well-serviced event village with plenty of food and drink options including free goodies from our partners at the finish line after your hard effort.

We have been extensively researching what runners consider important, and sustainability is fast becoming the top issue. Click here to see what RunThrough is doing for sustainability.

You can now grab your Warrington Running Festival event t-shirt for more than 30% off when you buy it as part of your entry on checkout! With the event logo printed on the chest, it’s the perfect keepsake to celebrate your race and wear your achievement with pride!

We can do this with our partner RT Kit as part of a strategic decision to raise awareness about the quality of the product whilst reducing the overall cost of events for those who would prefer not to have a t-shirt included.

How to get there?

By Train: Warrington Bank Quay rail station is a short walk from the event village and is on the Liverpool to Manchester line.

Parking

We recommend you use www.warrington.gov.uk/carparks to find a suitable parking spot. Please check the opening times of local car parks, as some may not be open on Sunday mornings.

Please note, parking restrictions will be in place on Crosfield Street, if planning to use street parking please park elsewhere.

Event Village Opens

Baggage

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

There will be portable toilets in the event village, and approximately halfway along the half marathon course.

Water & Refreshments

There will be three water stations at regular intervals on the half marathon, approximately halfway along the 10k course, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal. Please note the 5k & fun run won’t pass a water station on the course.

Race Pack Collection

Collect your race pack from the Event Village on the day — it opens at 07:30. Please bring your booking confirmation and photo ID.

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish. If you choose to head onto the course, please be respectful of other runners and be aware of the road closures in place.

Accessibility

Wheelchair athletes and buggy runners are welcome. Please remain mindful of other runners around you and make yourself known should you need to overtake. Dogs are not permitted to run with participants, however spectators are welcome to bring dogs within the event village if kept on a lead at all times.
