Warrington Running Festival – Sunday 24th September 2023!
The RunThrough Foundation Presents the world’s first, free to enter, road closed, chip timed race!
We are proud to announce that the Warrington Running Festival will be the RunThrough Foundation’s inaugural race. The event will be part funded by RunThrough Events (GW Active) in partnership with LetsDoThis.
Entry was balloted and completely FREE. Places have been offered to 6,000 runners across the 10km or Half Marathon distances. 100% of the places available are 100% FREE to ENTER!! No catch… Full road-closures, chip-timed, finisher medals and all of the usual works found at RunThrough Events.
Hometown of RunThrough events co-founder Ben Green, the Warrington Running Festival is an opportunity to give back to the town that has supported his lifelong running journey. In partnership with the Warrington Borough Council, the RunThrough Foundation team aims to transform the community’s approach to active and healthy living by providing access to all.

ANY ENTRIES MADE UNDER THE SAME ADDRESS WILL BE REMOVED BEFORE THE BALLOT DRAWS.
If you love RunThrough events as much as us, why not add an event Credit voucher to your entry, at just 50% the retailed value!
There is still opportunity to guarantee a place running for charity for £50. Entries to the junior race are still available for a donation of £10 to the RunThrough Foundation.

We have been extensively researching into what runners consider important, and sustainability is fast becoming the most important area. Click HERE to see what RunThrough is doing for sustainability.
T-Shirts at events have been a hot topic mainly around them not being a high enough quality to wear on a regular basis. So we have decided to tackle this by offering a RunThrough Kit Technical T-Shirt with a retail value of £22 for just £12.
We can do this with our partner RT Kit as part of a strategic decision to not only raise awareness about the quality of the product but also to counteract the increasing costs incurred in event production in a post-COVID world.
Here at RunThrough we are always looking for likeminded people to join our community. We always value an extra pair of hands and would love for you to come along and help us! From managing stalls at the event village to handing out medals at the finish, our volunteers are a critical part of what make RunThrough events so special!
