Join us for the Brewers 10K & 5K on Sunday 18 October 2026

Get ready to run in the heart of Burton upon Trent as the Brewers 10K and 5K return. This chip-timed, closed-road event starts and finishes at the iconic Pirelli Stadium, home of League One’s Burton Albion FC. Expect a welcoming atmosphere, strong community support, and a great day out for all abilities.

The route flows through Stretton and Rolleston-on-Dove with wide views of the Staffordshire countryside. Clear signage, supportive marshals, and well-placed water make for a smooth race experience from start to finish

Please note there is a 90min cut off on this race due to road closures in place

How to get there?

By Public Transportation: Getting there from the Train station will need careful planning. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time! The nearest train station is Burton-on-Trent, which is a 10-minute drive or taxi to the start.

Baggage

We will have a secure room where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

There will be toilet facilities available in the event village, within the stadium concourse.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water provided at the halfway point of the 10k, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal. Please note the 5k won’t pass a water station on the course.

Warm-Up & Race Start

Group warm up in the Event Village 15 minutes before each run starts.

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish. If you choose to go out onto the course, please be respectful of other runners and be aware of the road closures in place.

Accessibility

We welcome buggy runners and wheelchair athletes and simply ask that you remain mindful of the runners around you and make yourself known should you need to overtake them. Dogs aren't allowed for both runners and spectators at this event.
