Take on a fast, flat course in one of London’s most picturesque parks.

Battersea Park has long been a favourite with runners chasing a personal best, thanks to its smooth paths and completely flat course. Whether you are taking on the 5K, 10K or Half Marathon, the route offers a brilliant opportunity to test your pace and work towards your next PB.

Starting and finishing within the park, the course is easy to follow and provides a great setting for spectators to support runners throughout the event.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to Battersea Park Half Marathon.

Event Information

The course will run on the flat tarmac paths within the grounds of Battersea Park. Marshals are positioned all around the course, with distance signs and arrows throughout. Listen for marshal instructions and be aware of the signage in place, especially where different distances diverge and rejoin.

Cut-off time:

There is no cut-off for this race, however, please email in if you plan on taking over 3 hours due to Park restrictions.

Getting There

The best and easiest way to get to Battersea Park is via the underground/train network. The closest tube/train stations are Battersea Power Station, Queens Town Road & Clapham Junction.

There are paid car parking facilities available but we recommend that you avoid coming by car as there are limited places.

The park is easily accessible by both foot and cycle. There is plenty of cycle parking available in the park

Event Village Opens

Baggage

An informal bag drop is within the event village. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number — tear off the strip, attach it to your bag and leave it in the bag-drop marquee. Collect it after your race

Toilets

Toilets are at the Event Village — follow the signs. Queues build in the final half hour before the start, so go early!

Water & Refreshments

Water stations are positioned on every lap , with a bottle of water waiting for you at the finish line too. We recommend staying hydrated in the lead-up to the event.

Warm-Up & Race Start

There will be a group warm up in the event village 15 minutes before the start of each race.

Cut-Off

If you think you may take longer than the cut-off time, please email info@runthrough.co.uk before the event so we can advise on the options — we want everyone to finish, and knowing in advance lets us keep the course and marshals in place for you where we can.

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish, alternatively they can be out in the park where they can see participants on every lap.

Accessibility

Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome. Please remain mindful of other runners and make yourself known should you need to overtake.

Dogs

Dogs are not permitted to run or be within the Millennium Arena. If you are spectating with a dog, please do not enter the track area.
