Choose from the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Junior Race, with distances to suit every runner and every pace. Whether you're chasing a personal best, stepping up to a new distance or enjoying a fun day out with family and friends, this event offers a welcoming race-day experience for all abilities.

The course is fast and flat, taking runners along scenic lakeside paths, wide open trails and through one of the UK's oldest racecourses. With a unique setting, supportive marshals and a brilliant event atmosphere, the Nottingham Running Festival is the perfect way to round off your summer racing calendar.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Nottingham Running Festival.

The course comprises a 5km loop on flat tarmac paths within the Racecourse and on gravel paths in Colwick Park.

Laps:

HM - Mini Lap + 4 laps

10k - 2 laps

5k - 1 lap

Event Village Opens

Baggage

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

We will be using toilet blocks located within the racecourse grandstand. They are a short diversion from the race route, accessible at the end of each lap, should you wish to use them during the race.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water provided approximately every 5km and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal. Please note the 5k won’t pass a water station on the course.

Race Pack Collection

Race packs will be available to collect upon the event village opening at 7:30.

Warm-Up & Race Start

Warm ups will take place 10 mins before each race start time.

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish. If you choose to head onto the course, please be respectful of other runners, and members of the public.

Accessibility

Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome and simply ask that you remain mindful of the runners around you and make yourself known should you need to overtake. Dogs aren't allowed for both runners and spectators at this event.
