With the huge success of our fabulous and fully aviation themed new format and route last May, we’re delighted that Run Gatwick will be back this year on Sunday 12 May 2024!

Starting and finishing from Gatwick Aviation Museum, this unique and exciting route takes you inside the restricted area of the UK’s second largest airport, right along the full stretch of main runway running beside planes as they take off and land less than 100 metres away from you. A fast and flat closed road 10K, the best bit about Run Gatwick is, well, Gatwick – no other event gets you this close to a live international runway…

ROUTE

The 10K route is fast and flat on closed roads from Gatwick Aviation Museum, and with special permission from Gatwick Airport to run safely on the inner airport perimeter road alongside the live runway, with planes taking off and landing right beside you.

The half way point is at the end of the runway on the restricted area airport perimeter road, an exhilarating spot – don’t miss the opportunity to run this unique 10K event!
