Event Information

All three races start and finish at Crissy Field and run along the Golden Gate Promenade, the flat waterfront path along the bay between the Marina and Fort Point, with the Golden Gate Bridge ahead of you on every stretch heading west. It is one of the flattest courses anywhere: Strava measures under 5 m of climbing even on the Half Marathon.

5K: one lap of the promenade loop, out toward the bridge and back.

10K: two laps of the same loop.

Half Marathon: a short opening stretch, then four laps of the loop, passing the event village and the water station on every lap.

Minimum ages: 5K 11, 10K 15, Half Marathon 17. Half Marathon cut-off 11:30. Water every 1.5 miles and at the finish. The exact line for each distance is on the Strava route.

Baggage

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

There will be portable toilets at the event village, which will be passed by runners on every lap.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water provided every 1.5miles along the race and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post-race goodies and medal.

Race Pack Collection

Bib numbers and timing chips are collected on the day at the registration tent in the event village from when it opens. Bring your confirmation email (on your phone is fine).

Warm-Up & Race Start

There will be a group warm-up in the event village 15 minutes before each start.
