This popular running location in LA is perfect for not only quick times but some of the most spectacular coastline in the USA! Run along the beautiful Long Beach shoreline and enjoy a flat, PB-friendly course with stunning ocean views.

Event Information

Starting at the Shoreline Aquatic Park all routes head out along the LA River bike path. There 3 different turn around points for each respective race.

Age requirements:

5k: Participants must be 11 years of age or older

10k: Participants must be 15 years of age or older

Half Marathon: Participants must be 17 years of age or older

The Shoreline Aquatic Park is a 15-20 minute walk from Long Beach Metro A Line station.

Please plan to arrive no later than 45-60 minutes in advance of race start time. This will give you enough time to get your bib, if you haven’t picked up already, use the restroom, and get lined up for your race at

Event Village Opens

Baggage

An informal bag drop is within the event village. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number — tear off the strip, attach it to your bag and leave it in the bag-drop marquee. Collect it after your race.

Toilets

Toilets are at the Event Village — follow the signs. Queues build in the final half hour before the start, so go early!

Water & Refreshments

There will be fluid stations on both courses at approximately every 2 Miles. The 5k will have 1 aid station as well. There will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.

Race Pack Collection

There is day before packet pick up at Sports Basement, Long Beach. From 5pm - 8pm.

Warm-Up & Race Start

There will be a warm up 15 minutes before each race start.

Spectators are more than welcome to attend and watch anywhere along the course. Because of runners on both sides of the roads, crossing will be hard during the event so please be mindful in advance which side you want to meet your runner on after the race.

Accessibility

This course is suitable for wheelchair athletes — the event village and course are accessible. Please be aware of minor inclines and bridges on the route, and let us know in advance if we can help on the day.
