Join us for the Battersea Running Festival at Battersea Park for a Half or Full Marathon Presented by Science in Sport.

In Support of The Feathers Association

Lace up for a spectacular day in one of London’s most picturesque parks. Battersea Park’s flat loops, tree-lined paths, and energetic atmosphere set the scene for a brilliant race day whether you are chasing a personal best or soaking up the sights. You will start and finish on the athletics track at the Millennium Arena, crossing under the iconic RunThrough gantry to round off an unforgettable experience.

We also have a fun, family-friendly junior race on the track so young runners can enjoy their own moment of glory.

Offering the t-shirt as an optional extra helps us keep entry costs lower for runners who prefer not to include merchandise.

Event Information

Marshals are positioned all around the course, with distance signs and arrows throughout. Listen for marshal instructions and be aware of the signage in place, especially where different distances diverge and rejoin.

Getting There

The best and easiest way to get to Battersea Park is via the underground/train network. The closest tube/train stations are Battersea Power Station, Queens Town Road & Clapham Junction.

There are paid car parking facilities available but we recommend that you avoid coming by car as there are limited places.

The park is easily accessible by both foot and cycle. There is plenty of cycle parking available in the park

There are limited paid parking facilities within Battersea Park however we recommend exploring alternative transportation options.

Event Village Opens

Baggage

There's a bag drop in the Event Village — just follow the signs. Your baggage tag is the strip at the bottom of your race number: tear it off, attach it to your bag and hand it to our bag drop team. To collect your bag after your race, simply show your race number.

Toilets

Toilets are at the Event Village — follow the signs. Queues build in the final half hour before the start, so go early! There are also toilets around Battersea Park that we recommend using.

Water & Refreshments

There will be a water station on every lap, with water and gels, with a bottle of water waiting for you at the finish line too. We recommend staying hydrated in the lead-up to the event.

Race Pack Posting

Race packs are posted to everyone who entered by Saturday 10th October; anyone who entered after that collects theirs at registration on the day. Race packs for this date were posted on Tuesday 13th October. If yours hasn't arrived by the Friday before the race, email info@runthrough.co.uk or collect it at registration.

Warm-Up & Race Start

There will be a group warm-up 15 minutes prior to the start of each race. From here, we will call out estimated finish times to get all runners lined up and ready to run.

You are free to wander around the park so you can see where the competitors will be running. It is lapped so you will see them on numerous occasions.

Accessibility

Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome. Please remain mindful of other runners and make yourself known should you need to overtake.

Dogs

Sadly, dogs are not allowed to run and are not permitted inside the Millennium Arena. Spectators with dogs are welcome to stay in other areas of the park.
