Join us for the Running GP Oulton Park for a 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, 20 Mile, Marathon or Metric Marathon on Sunday 28th November 2027

Race your way around the iconic Oulton Park motor circuit in Cheshire. Home to British Touring Cars, British F3 and British Superbikes since the 1950s, this world-class venue becomes your playground for a day of smooth, traffic-free running.

The course is all on tarmac with gentle undulations, ideal for finding your rhythm, chasing a chip-timed PB or soaking up the unique motorsport atmosphere from start to finish.

A Metric Marathon is 26.2 kilometres, offering a brilliant step up from a Half Marathon without taking on the full marathon distance.

It is a great option for runners looking to build endurance, try a new challenge, or work toward longer race goals with a more approachable distance.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to Running GP Oulton Park.

Event Information

The entire course is inside the Oulton Park Autodrome on the roads/paths not on grass.

5k – 1 lap

10k – 2 laps

Half Marathon – 5 laps

Metric Marathon – 6 laps

20 Mile – 7 laps

Marathon – 10 laps

Each mile will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of helpers to keep you quite literally on track and encourage you on your way to that chequered flag finish.

The race involves laps around the circuit!

Event Village Opens

Baggage

An informal bag drop is within the event village. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number — tear off the strip, attach it to your bag and leave it in the bag-drop marquee. Collect it after your race.

Toilets

Toilets are located in the pit lane area.

Water & Refreshments

There's a water station just after the pit lane, which you'll pass on every lap of the circuit. Please dispose of bottles within the designated litter zones, and remember to stay hydrated in the lead-up to the event.

Race Pack Posting

Race packs are posted to everyone who entered by Sunday 14th November; anyone who entered after that collects theirs at registration on the day. If yours hasn't arrived by the Friday before the race, email info@runthrough.co.uk or collect it at registration.

Collect your race pack from the Event Village on the day — it opens at 08:00. Please bring your booking confirmation and photo ID.
