Come and join us for the Cheltenham Running Festival on Sunday 16th June 2024!
This event offers you the unique opportunity to run a 5k, 10k or Half Marathon around the famous Cheltenham Racecourse! Bring your kids along to join in the fun with our kids race, to make a fun day out for the entire family!
Running within and around the horse racing circuit this really is an event like no other, so channel your inner jockey and take on a chip timed 5k, 10k or Half Marathon around this inspiring venue.
Each Mile will be accurately marked out and we will have plenty of helpers to keep you quite literally on track and encourage you all the way to the finish line.
Start Times:
10.00am – Half Marathon
10.45am – 10k
10.55am – 5k

The Course
A flat 5k loop within the grounds of Cheltenham Racecourse, with spectacular views of the surrounding area. The course is mostly tarmac, with some sections of gravel and soft surface. Perfect for a PB.
1 lap 5k, 2 lap 10k, 4 lap half marathon.

RUNTHROUGH EVENT PARTNERS
The entire course is inside Cheltenham racecourse on a mixture of multi-terrain & concrete paths, not on grass. The route will take you around the entirety of the famous Cheltenham Racecourse track!
Each mile will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of helpers to keep you going and encourage you all the way to the finish line.
The race involves laps of the course. There will be 1 lap for the 5k, 2 laps for the 10k and 4 laps for the Half Marathon.
Baggage
We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, all you have to do show you number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your baggage.
Refreshments
There will be water provided every 5km along the route, there will also be water at the finish along with goodies & your well earned medal!
Results
Results will be available on www.runthrough.co.uk after the race.
Pictures
We will have a photographer taking a few snaps of the race and they will be on our photos page after the race so be sure to check it out and see if you can spot yourself.
