Experience trail running at its wildest in the heart of Brecon Beacons National Park, where dramatic mountain landscapes, rugged terrain and unforgettable views create one of the UK's most spectacular race-day settings. Starting from the picturesque village of Talybont-on-Usk, this event is designed for runners seeking a true mountain adventure.

The routes take you across sweeping moorland, forestry trails, glacial valleys and exposed mountain ridges, showcasing the breathtaking scenery of the Brecon Beacons. Along the way, you'll enjoy panoramic views towards the iconic peaks of Pen y Fan, Cribyn and the Black Mountains, with every climb rewarded by incredible Welsh landscapes.

Expect a challenging and rewarding day on technical trails, supported by clear waymarking, well-stocked aid stations and an experienced marshal team to help you every step of the way. Whether you're an experienced trail runner or looking to take on your next big off-road challenge, this event offers an unforgettable mountain running experience.

All routes will be marked using trail flags and tags, along with A5 arrows and signage. Our friendly marshals will also be on hand to guide you at major junctions and cheer you all the way to the finish. However, please note with all trail races, routes can be disrupted by many things: the weather, disgruntled walkers and wildlife, to name a few! To keep you safe, we provide the GPX for your race route so you can check you’re on track throughout the race and course correct/self-navigate if necessary.

With RunThrough you can expect a friendly team of marshals to help guide you round the course and cheer you on to the finish, a lively and well-serviced event village with plenty of food and drink options including free goodies from our partners at the finish line after your hard effort.
