Join us for the Birmingham Running Festival 5K, 10K, Half Marathon & Juniors in support of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity on Sunday 7th February 2027!

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity delivers exceptional pre-hospital care and lifesaving interventions through its helicopter-led emergency medical services (HEMS).

Start your 2027 running season with a winter challenge at Sutton Park in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. Taking place in support of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, this event brings runners, families and supporters together for a brilliant race morning just 6 miles from Birmingham City Centre.

Set within the 2,400 acre National Nature Reserve, the route follows scenic park paths through one of the Midlands’ most loved green spaces. As the home of the National Road Relays, Sutton Park has welcomed some of Britain’s best distance runners, including Sir Mo Farah, Andy Vernon and many more GB greats.

Choose from the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Junior Race and enjoy a well-organised, chip-timed event with accurately marked miles, supportive marshals and plenty of encouragement all the way to the chequered flag finish.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Birmingham Running Festival.

With RunThrough you can expect a friendly team of marshals to help guide you round the course and cheer you on to the finish, a lively and well-serviced event village with plenty of food and drink options including free goodies from our partners at the finish line after your hard effort.

You can now grab your Birmingham Running Festival event t-shirt for more than 30% off when you buy it as part of your entry on checkout! With the event logo printed on the chest, it’s the perfect keepsake to celebrate your race and wear your achievement with pride!

We can do this with our partner RT Kit as part of a strategic decision to raise awareness about the quality of the product whilst reducing the overall cost of events for those who would prefer not to have a t-shirt included.

Come and enjoy the day with us. Once you enter you will receive a confirmation email. More information will be sent closer to the event.

We can’t wait to see you on the start line!

There are several entrances to the park. Car parks are marked on the Sutton Park website linked below. There is very limited parking available on site so we recommend carpooling and taking public transport.
