Start your summer race calendar with a truly iconic closed-road challenge at the Jubilee Bridge Half Marathon & 10K. Starting and finishing on the historic Silver Jubilee Bridge, this event gives runners the unique chance to race across one of the North West’s most recognisable landmarks.

Spanning the River Mersey and Manchester Ship Canal between Widnes and Runcorn, the Grade II listed Silver Jubilee Bridge creates a memorable setting for an exciting early summer race day. Whether you are taking on the Half Marathon or 10K, expect a brilliant atmosphere, a distinctive route and a finish line moment to remember.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to Jubilee Bridge Half Marathon & 10k .

Event Information

The course starts in Runcorn and follow a road closed route out along the iconic Silver Jubilee Bridge towards Halebank before turning back to finish back on the bridge.

Cut-off time:

Please note there is a 3 hour cut off on this race due to road closures in place.

Minimum ages:

Half Marathon - 17 years above

10k - 15 years and above

Getting There

By Car: There will be some closed roads for this event so please check before you travel.

PLEASE NOTE: the Jubilee Bridge will be closed from 6am for the event. Access to Runcorn from the Widnes side will be via the Mersey Gateway Bridge. Please ensure you allow yourself extra time to travel, following any road closure diversions.

By Train: Runcorn train station is a short walk from the event village.

Parking

There is no specific event parking for this event. We advise using parkopedia.com to find a space.

Event Village Opens

Baggage

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

There will be portable toilets a short walk from the event village, and available on the course.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water provided approximately every 5km, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.

Race Pack Collection

Collect your race pack from the Event Village on the day — it opens at 07:30. Please bring your booking confirmation and photo ID.

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish. If you choose to head out onto the course, please be respectful of other runners and be aware of the road closures in place.

Accessibility

Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome and simply asked to remain mindful of the runners around you and make yourself known should you need to overtake. Dogs are not permitted to run at this event however spectators are welcome to have their dog within the event village if kept on a lead at all times.
