In Support of Midlands Mencap

Get ready for a race day like no other at the 2027 Drayton Manor 5K & 10K! Taking place on Sunday 11th April, this unique event lets you run through the heart of the incredible Drayton Manor Theme Park, home to rollercoasters, family rides, and even a zoo.

You’ll race past iconic attractions including the Accelerator, Stormforce 10, Thomas Land, and more. With entry to the theme park included in your race registration (RRP £25–£45), you’ll be first in line to enjoy the rides once your run is done!

Perfect for all experience levels, this closed-road race combines fun, fitness, and thrills in one unforgettable morning.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to Drayton Manor.

The course is nice and flat with a tarmac surface – perfect if you're chasing a PB or just after a smooth, steady run.

Please arrive early as there may be queues on arrival. Due to the nature of the course, runners and spectators won’t be able to leave in their car until after 11am, when the race finishes, for the safety of all runners. Event Village Opens

Baggage

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

There will be portable toilets in the event village.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water provided at the halfway point of the 10k, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal. Please note the 5k won’t pass a water station on the course.

Warm-Up & Race Start

Group warm up in the event village 15 minutes prior to start time.

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish. Spectators will be able to enter the resort from 10am onwards. Due to the nature of the course, runners and spectators won’t be able to leave in their car until after 11am, when the race finishes, for the safety of all runners. Please enjoy the resort before then!

Accessibility

Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcomed; please remain mindful of the runners around you and make yourself known should you need to overtake. Dogs are not allowed at this event.
