The average time to complete a 5k in the UK is just over half an hour (00:33:54 to be exact). However, it’s important to remember that the time is all relative to the level of the runner, and simply completing the race is a huge achievement in itself. Once you’ve completed your first 5k, you can always run again at our next scheduled 5k run in Leeds and try to beat your time. Or, set yourself an even higher target and tackle one of our 10k events.

We host a wide range of 5k races in Leeds throughout the year, with locations varying from inspiring routes around Leeds city centre to stunning parkland laps at Roundhay Park (one of Europe’s biggest city parks!).
With transport links available from Leeds Railway Station to West Yorkshire, the North, West Midlands, North East, Scotland and even London (in approximately two hours), our 5k runs in Leeds welcome participants from near and far.
