About This Event

Join us for Run Gatwick Half Marathon & 5K on Sunday 21st November 2027!

Take on Run Gatwick, a fast and flat single-loop course built for PB chasers and runners of all levels. Starting in central Crawley, this exciting route blends urban streets with open countryside, delivering a race day experience that feels both energetic and refreshing from start to finish.

The course begins along The Boulevard before heading north towards the peaceful village of Charlwood. Along the way, you’ll pass directly beneath Gatwick Airport’s flight path, with planes soaring overhead as you run. From there, the route turns south through Manor Royal before returning to Crawley town centre, finishing along the High Street with a strong race-day atmosphere.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to Run Gatwick Half Marathon & 5K!

Getting There

Parking/Travel

There is limited onsite parking, which will be for event organisers and suppliers only. There is no on site parking for participants however there are a number of local car parks within a short distance. A full participant car parking plan will be provided and shared with participants within their Final Race Information communications.

Event Village Opens

Baggage

A bag drop off area will be made available for participants to drop their bags pre-race and collect post-race. Participants will be given a baggage tag as part of their race number. This will be attached to the bag and then stored numerically for ease of collection. Bags will only be repatriated to runners with the matching race number.

Toilets

Portable toilets will be provided within Southgate Park and on the route at the three water stations.

REFRESHMENTS (write this as you’d like to appear on the website)

Water stations will be located at the 3, 6.5 and 10.3 mile markers on the Half Marathon, and also at the finish. There is no requirement for water stations on the 5k or Family Run routes, except at the finish. At the finish line you will receive water along with your post race goodies and medal.

SPECTATORS (write this as you’d like to appear on the website)

It is the intention that runners will be entertained along the route with spectators, cheer groups and music, providing entertainment at pre-agreed locations. Run Gatwick marshals (known as RaceCrew) will provide both directional support and encouragement for participants.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water provided at approximately every 5k of the half marathon, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post-race goodies and medal (please note the 5k won’t pass a water station on the course)
