Gateshead International Stadium is the third largest sporting venue in Tyne and Wear and the North East’s only IAAF-standard athletics stadium. The venue has hosted IAAF Diamond & Golden League Athletics and the European Cup featuring the superstars of athletics. You will be joining many World Champions & Olympians have crossed the finish line at Gateshead International Stadium where five world records broken in track and field on the famous track.The stadium is also home to the Gateshead Half Marathon race, giving runners of all abilities the chance to race on the same iconic track as legends of the sport.
