Morpeth 10k June 2027

Join us for the Morpeth 10K & Juniors on Sunday 27th June 2027!

Starting and finishing beside Morpeth’s historic clock tower, this closed-road race offers a brilliant early summer challenge in the heart of Northumberland. The predominantly flat 10K route takes in key landmarks around the town before heading onto a picturesque 2-lap loop through the surrounding countryside.

The course is officially measured, making it a fantastic choice for runners chasing a new PB, while the supportive, community-led atmosphere makes it just as welcoming for those taking on the distance for the first time.

To keep the course flowing comfortably, the 10K will use two start waves. Choose the wave that best matches your expected finish time so you can run alongside others at a similar pace:

10K A-Race: Sub 40 minutes

10K B-Race: Over 40 minutes

The Junior Race gives younger runners the chance to be part of the Morpeth race-day experience, with plenty of support and encouragement from the crowd.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags, and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to Morpeth 10k.
