Join us for the Birmingham Running Festival 5K, 10K, Half Marathon & Juniors in support of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity on Sunday 9th May 2027!
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity delivers exceptional pre-hospital care and lifesaving interventions through its helicopter-led emergency medical services (HEMS).
Take on a spring running challenge at Sutton Park in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. Taking place in support of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, this event brings runners, families and supporters together for a brilliant race morning in one of the Midlands’ most iconic parkland settings.
Located only 6 miles from Birmingham City Centre, Sutton Park offers a beautiful mix of open space, winding paths and natural scenery across its 2,400 acre National Nature Reserve. Known as the home of the National Road Relays, the park has seen some of the UK’s finest athletes race across its paths, including Sir Mo Farah, Andy Vernon and many more GB greats.
Whether you are taking on the 5K, stepping up to the 10K, pushing through the Half Marathon or bringing the family along for the Junior Race, this event offers a brilliant morning of running for all abilities.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Birmingham Running Festival.
With RunThrough you can expect a friendly team of marshals to help guide you round the course and cheer you on to the finish, a lively and well-serviced event village with plenty of food and drink options including free goodies from our partners at the finish line after your hard effort.
