Bring your summer running goals to Sutton Park for the Birmingham Running Festival on Sunday 4th July 2027. Set in the heart of Sutton Coldfield, just 6 miles from Birmingham City Centre, this event is a brilliant opportunity to enjoy a warm-weather race morning with friends, family and fellow runners.
The route takes place within Sutton Park’s 2,400 acre National Nature Reserve, giving you a scenic setting filled with open parkland, tree-lined paths and a welcoming event atmosphere. As the home of the National Road Relays, this historic running venue has hosted some of the biggest names in British distance running, including Sir Mo Farah and Andy Vernon.
Choose your challenge across the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Junior Race and enjoy an organised, supportive event with chip timing, clear course markings and plenty of encouragement along the way.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Birmingham Running Festival.
