For 2026, Run Through Ultra Trail Girona enters an exciting new chapter, with all routes now set within the wild and beautiful Les Gavarres Natural Park. This expansive landscape of rolling hills, forested ridgelines and fast gravel trails offers a true trail-running experience, just beyond the city of Girona.

The flagship 100km route delivers an unforgettable journey from mountains to sea. Starting in Girona, the course heads deep into Les Gavarres before flowing steadily towards the Mediterranean, finishing on the coast at Sant Antoni de Calonge. It’s a point-to-point challenge that captures the essence of trail running — distance, discovery and a clear sense of destination.

New for this year is a 15km route, perfect for runners who are new to trail running or looking for a shorter, more accessible experience. Following smooth gravel trails through the heart of the natural park, this route offers stunning scenery and runnable terrain, making it an ideal introduction to trail racing in one of Catalonia’s most beautiful settings.

With multiple distances, a dramatic natural backdrop and a route that connects mountains to the sea, Run Through Ultra Trail Girona offers something for everyone — from first-time trail runners to experienced ultra athletes.

T-Shirts at events have become a hot topic with concerns around the quality not being high enough to wear on a regular basis. We have decided to tackle this by offering a RunThrough Kit Technical T-Shirt with a retail value of £22 for £12 with the addition of the RunThrough Trails Girona event logo printed on the chest.

We can do this with our partner RT Kit as part of a strategic decision to raise awareness about the quality of the product whilst reducing the overall cost of events for those who would prefer not to have a t-shirt included.
