Take on a 5K, 10K or Half Marathon at the iconic Albert Park, located just a short distance from Melbourne's CBD. With a flat course and brilliant views towards the city skyline, this is a fantastic setting for runners looking to chase a PB, take on a new challenge or enjoy a memorable race day in Melbourne.

Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome, with chip-timed results, well-marshalled routes and a vibrant event village creating a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags, and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Melbourne Albert Park 5K, 10K & Half Marathon.

Baggage

We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

There will be toilets at the Event Village which will be available for use before and after the event. You will also pass these toilets on each lap of the course.

Water & Refreshments

There will be a water station provided on each lap of the race, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post-race goodies and medal. The 5k race will pass the water station once, the 10k race will pass the water station twice and the Half Marathon race will pass the water station 4 times. Please note that the water will be provided in paper cups in order to reduce plastic wastage.

Warm-Up & Race Start

There will be a group warm-up 15 minutes prior to the start of each race. From here, we will call out estimated finish times to get all runners lined up and ready to run.

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish, and also the runners as they pass on each lap of the course.

Best Places To Watch

The start and finish for the race is within the Lakeside Stadium, which has plenty of seating within the stands. You will also see runners as they pass on each lap of the course.

Dogs

Sadly dogs are not permitted within the stadium, with the exception of guide dogs. This event is not canicross suitable.
