Join us for the Richmond Park Half Marathon on Sunday 15th August 2027!

Take on a scenic summer challenge through one of London’s most acclaimed beauty spots. Complete four laps around Richmond Park, passing through woodland, over rolling hills and alongside the park’s diverse wildlife, with the chance to spot deer during your run.

With a supportive race-day atmosphere, friendly marshals and plenty of refreshments at the finish, it is a brilliant addition to your summer race calendar.

The course will be marked with trail flags along with A5 arrows, our friendly marshals will also be on hand to guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to Richmond Park!

This route follows the trail paths, pavement and grass stretches within Richmond Park.

Cut-off:

There is no cut-off time for this event, however please get in contact with us @info@runthrough.co.uk if you plan to take more than 3 hours to complete you race as we may need to make special arrangements around the course and event village

Getting There

The event village is located next to Sheen Gate. The nearest postcode we have for this location is SW14 8BJ. This is not the exact postcode but is should give you a close enough location when using navigation services. Sheen Lane is the street that takes you directly into the Park.

Train:

Richmond Mainline station is about 30-40 minutes walk and Mortlake is about 20 minutes walk away. Getting there from the Tube/Train station will need careful planning. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time.

By foot:

The park is easily accessible by both foot and cycle. There is No Bike Parking.

Parking

There is limited parking available at both Sheen Gate & Roehampton Gate. As it is a Sunday there will also be parking available within the surrounding roads, please check any relevant signage display.

Event Village Opens

Baggage

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

There will be portable toilets in event village, which are also passed on every lap in the run.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water and sweets at kilometers 2.5, 7.5, 12.5 and 17.5.

Race Pack Collection

Half Marathon: 08:00 - 09:00

Warm-Up & Race Start

There will be a group warm-up 15 minutes prior to the start of each race. From here, we will call out estimated finish times to get all runners lined up and ready to run.

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish and see the runners passed on every lap. There is cafe a 15 minute walk away, at Roehampton Gate, although this is not on the course.

Accessibility

We welcome buggy runners and wheelchair athletes and simply ask that you remain mindful of the runners around you and make yourself known should you need to overtake. Please note that due to the multi terrain surface this may prove a tough course for any wheelchair athlete. It is not permitted to run with a dog at this event however spectators are welcome to have their dog within the event village we simply ask they be kept on a lead at all times.
