Join us for the London Training Night on Friday 10th July 2026 at Battersea Park!
This free coach-led session, delivered by the RunThrough Coaching team, combines a structured workout with practical coaching insights to help runners improve endurance, pacing and overall running performance. Set within one of London's most popular running locations, the evening offers a fantastic opportunity to train alongside fellow runners in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The session is designed to develop speed endurance, lactate tolerance and the ability to maintain strong running form under fatigue. Runners will begin with a 1km or Mad Mile Time Trial, providing a valuable benchmark effort before progressing into a challenging relay-based workout of 3 x (3 x 400m) efforts in pairs.
By combining a maximal effort with repeated high-intensity intervals, the session replicates the demands of middle-distance and 5K racing, helping runners develop the confidence and resilience needed to perform when fatigue begins to build. The relay format adds a fun and competitive element while encouraging runners to maintain pace, efficiency and focus throughout the session.
Alongside the workout, participants will take part in guided running drills aimed at improving running mechanics, movement efficiency and confidence in applying new skills. These exercises are designed to help runners become more economical and effective in both training and racing.
