Join us for the Greenwich Park 5K, 10K & Junior Race on Sunday 26th September 2027!

Take on an early autumn race day in the beautiful surroundings of Greenwich Park at the Greenwich Park 5K, 10K & Junior Race.

Set within one of London’s most historic Royal Parks, this scenic event gives runners the chance to enjoy tree-lined paths, open parkland and standout views across the capital. With 5K, 10K and Junior Race options available, it’s a fantastic choice for runners of all ages and abilities.

Each kilometre will be clearly marked, with friendly marshals supporting you around the course and encouraging you all the way to the finish. After your run, enjoy the lively event village and free goodies from our partners.

The route is run on the undulating tarmac paths within Greenwich Park, starting and finishing alongside the bandstand.

Getting There

By Train: The nearest station to the park is Greenwich, and from there you can follow signs to the park, trains depart from Cannon Street, Waterloo, London Bridge, and Charing Cross.

By Tube: North Greenwich (Jubilee Line) - then catch the 188 or 129 bus to Greenwich Park gate.

By Riverboat: The nearest riverboat stop is Greenwich Pier, you can catch the riverboat from the following locations: Westminster Pier, Embankment Pier, or Tower Pier.

Parking

We advice you to take public transport to the event as there is only a limited number of parking spots. There is paid parking within Greenwich Park but please note payments can only be made from 9am. If you park here, we advise collecting your race number, then going back to pay for parking at 9am.

Event Village Opens

Baggage

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

There are toilets located 5 minute walk from the event village within the park.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water provided every lap of the race. The 5k will pass it once and the 10k twice. There will be a bottle of water waiting for you at the finish line, too. We recommend staying hydrated in the lead-up to the event.

Warm-Up & Race Start

There will be a group warm-up 15 minutes prior to the start of each race. From here, we will call out estimated finish times to get all runners lined up and ready to run.

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish.

Accessibility

Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome and simply ask that you remain mindful of the runners around you and make yourself known should you need to overtake.

Dogs

Dogs are not permitted to run with you at this event. Spectators with dogs must keep their dogs on a lead while in the event village.
