About This Event

Join us for the Draycote Water Running Festival on Saturday 15th May 2027!

The Draycote Water Running Festival returns to the calendar for 2027! We’re excited to bring runners back to this scenic venue. After a break while venue building works took place, the country park and reservoir is now back looking great again, and ready for you to join us there!

Set across a 240-hectare waterside location, this event offers a refreshing late spring race experience surrounded by open views and peaceful parkland. The route takes you alongside the water, giving you the chance to soak up the stunning setting from start to finish.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance signage, and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Draycote Water Running Festival.

Please note cut off for runners across all distances will be 1pm.

Getting There

The nearest train station to Draycote Water is Rugby. Rugby Station is a 20 minute taxi away or a 40min-1hr journey via 2 buses (8B/8A/2/96S>63>walk) to Draycote Water.

Parking

Race parking in field ///deeply.flitting.quick - 20 minute walk to the EV. Non-event parking: ///deeply.flitting.quick (20 minute walk from EV), or if requiring access park with vans at ///pictured.playfully.eaten. Marshal and signage needed at the main entrance to direct traffic; signage needed from parking field to start line through the woods.

Baggage

We will have a marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible (please note baggage drop is approx 20 mins from the carpark, located in the Event Village near the start line). Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

We will have toilets available within the Event Village.

Water & Refreshments

There will be 2 water stations positioned on the 10k & Half Marathon routes, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post-race goodies and medal.
