Join us for RunThrough Hyde Park Chase the Sun 5K & 10K on Wednesday 28th April 2027!

Chase the evening sun through one of London’s most beautiful parks at the RunThrough Hyde Park Chase the Sun 5K & 10K.

Taking place on a flat and fast course, this midweek evening race is perfect for chasing a PB, enjoying a run after work or soaking up the spring atmosphere with friends. Choose from the 5K or 10K and experience Hyde Park in a memorable evening race setting.

Each kilometre will be clearly marked, with friendly marshals guiding you around the course and encouraging you to the finish. Expect a lively event village, great support and free goodies from our partners after your race.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Chase The Sun Hyde Park 5k & 10k.

Hyde Park is highly accessible by public transport and it is recommended that visitors avoid coming by car as there are limited places.

By Tube: Hyde Park Corner (closest tube station), Knightsbridge (Piccadilly Line), Lancaster Gate (Central Line) or Marble Arch (Central Line)

By Bus:

North London: 6, 7, 10, 16, 52, 73, 82, 390, 414

South London: 2, 36, 137, 436

Parking

There is no specific event parking for this event however there are plenty of paid parking options within Hyde Park. For parking information please visit Royal Parks website for details.

Event Village Opens

Baggage

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

There is free use of the toilets near the bandstand.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water provided at the every 2.5 kilometers of the race, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.

Race Pack Collection

5k & 10k - 17:30 - 18:30

Warm-Up & Race Start

There will be a group warm-up 15 minutes prior to the start of each race. From here, we will call out estimated finish times to get all runners lined up and ready to run.
