Hosted in the picturesque Buckland park, participants get the opportunity to discover and explore one of Surrey’s best kept secrets. Swimming in one of Surrey’s largest lakes, the bike course then leaves the park and heads out onto the rolling lanes of Surrey. Participants then return to the park where they get to run around the 100 acre site taking in the breathtaking views of the lake as they go.

The route includes an open water swim, an open road bike leg, and a run on trail path around Buckland Park.

Getting There

Buckland Park Lake lies between Reigate and Dorking in the beautiful Surrey Hills. The Park entrance is opposite Lawrence Lane.

By Car

We are just an hour’s drive from central London. With easy access to the M25 we can be easily reached from Kent, Sussex, Essex and Berkshire and have ample secure parking

By Train

Trains from London Victoria and Guildford operate direct into Betchworth or Reigate stations, which are just 1.5 miles from us.

By Bus

The Redhill-Guildford (32) bus stops by the entrance.

Parking

Parking available across from Buckland Park Lake on the farmers farm for both participants and spectators. This is approximately a 15 min walk from the Event Village. Please make sure you give yourself enough time to get yourself from the car park to the EV.

Baggage

We will have a secure bag drop where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

Portable toilets will be available in the transition area and event village.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water provided on each lap of the run course, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal. We will monitor the weather and will ensure additional water stations are provided if temperatures are high.

There will be food and beverage trucks in the event village before and during the race.

Warm-Up & Race Start

There will be a race briefing 15 minutes before race start, please make sure you are ready and attending the race brief to understand all key information in regards to the race. After the race briefing, we will get the first wave into the water ready for race start.
