We’re delighted to have Macmillan as our RunThrough Triathlon Partner in 2027. Macmillan has spent more than 100 years helping people living with cancer. From the moment someone is diagnosed, we're there with all the information, support and guidance they need, to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can.

Take on a unique multisport challenge at the Thorpe Park Sprint Triathlon, where you'll swim, bike and run around one of the UK's most exciting theme parks. With Sprint distances, this event is perfect for first-time triathletes looking to experience the sport, as well as experienced athletes chasing a fast and enjoyable race.

Your race begins with a 750m open-water swim in Fleet Lake, completing one buoy-marked lap with clear sighting points before heading out onto a flat 20K bike course. Finish with a 5K run on smooth, fast terrain, creating an ideal course for confident pacing and personal best attempts.

Every stage of the event is clearly marked and fully supported by experienced marshals, ensuring a safe and enjoyable race-day experience from start to finish. Whether you're completing your first triathlon or looking to improve your time, you'll enjoy fantastic organisation and a welcoming atmosphere throughout.

As an added bonus, every entry includes FREE admission to Thorpe Park Resort, giving you the perfect opportunity to celebrate your achievement with a day on the rides after crossing the finish line.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Thorpe Park Sprint Triathlon.

Event Information

The triathlon route includes a lake swim within the park, followed by a bike leg on open roads outside the park, and finishes with a run on internal park roads.

Parking

There will be parking available at the Thorpe Park car park that is within a 10 minutes walking distance of the event village. Allowed to park free until 13:00. £10 charge from 13:00 onwards.

BAGGAGE (state if marquee or venue)

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Event Village Opens

Baggage

There will be an informal bag drop within the event village for you to leave any belongings during the race. Please ensure your label is attached to your bag before dropping it off with our marshals.

Anything left within the bag drop is left at your own risk.

Toilets

There will be toilets provided by the venue.

REFRESHMENTS (write this as you’d like to appear on the website)

There will be water provided at the start of the run, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal. Costa Coffee with be available inside the Dome for some hot drinks and light snacks.

SPECTATORS (write this as you’d like to appear on the website)

Spectators are welcome but are only permitted to watch the swim start and the run finish. We advise staying in the event village and spectator zone for the remainder of the event.

Water & Refreshments

Yes — there will be water on the course and at the finish.

Race Pack Collection

Collect your race pack from the Event Village on the day — it opens at 05:30. Please bring your booking confirmation and photo ID.
