About This Event

Join us for the Henley River Half Marathon, 10K & Juniors on Saturday 10th April 2027!

Take on a scenic mixed-terrain race experience along the banks of the Thames in the beautiful surroundings of Henley-on-Thames. Starting and finishing at Remenham Farm, the famous launch point of the Royal Henley Rowing Regatta, this event offers a memorable day out for runners of all abilities.

The route is fast and undulating, taking you through picturesque riverside landscapes and giving you a rewarding challenge from start to finish. Whether you are stepping up for the Half Marathon, taking on the 10K, or supporting your young runner in the Junior Race, this event brings together stunning views, a welcoming atmosphere, and a brilliant race-day experience.

The course will be marked with trail flags along with A5 arrows, our friendly marshals will also be on hand to guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Henley River Half Marathon, 10K & Junior Race.

This course follows closed roads with an undulating mix of tarmac and trail paths, offering some lovely scenic views along the river – a bit of a challenge, but well worth it for the atmosphere!

Laps:

HM - 1 mini lap + 2 laps

10k - 1 lap

Juniors - Out and Back

Minimum ages:

Half Marathon - 17 years and above

10k - 15 years and above

Getting There

By Car: Henley is easily accessible via the A4155 from Reading, the A4130 from Wallingford or Maidenhead and the A4155 from Marlow. It is a 23-minute drive from Reading and a 24-minute drive from High Wycombe.

By Public Transportation: Henley-on-Thames Station is a 15-minute walk from the race HQ, and has regular services running to Twyford.

Parking

Free parking is available on Remenham Farm, right by the Event Village. To access the site, all vehicles should enter via Remenham Church Lane. When leaving, please exit via Remenham Lane to help keep traffic flowing smoothly.

Baggage

We will have a secure marquee area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

Toilets provided in the Event Village and on course for the Half Marathon & 10k.

Water & Refreshments

There will be sufficient water provided on course, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.
