Join us for the East Yorkshire Half Marathon & 10K on Sunday 20th June 2027!

In Support of RSPCA Hull & East Riding

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Burton Constable Hall, this early summer race offers a fast, predominantly flat road course through the scenic East Yorkshire countryside. Runners will pass through the picturesque villages of West Newton and New Ellerby, taking in peaceful rural views and a brilliant race-day atmosphere.

Choose between the Half Marathon or 10K and enjoy closed roads, chip-timed results and plenty of support from start to finish. Whether you are chasing a new PB, stepping up to a new distance or enjoying a summer run through the countryside, this event is a fantastic addition to your 2027 race calendar.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags, and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to the East Yorkshire Half Marathon & 10K.

Event Information

The course follow a road closed loop around West Newton and New Ellerby, starting and finishing at Burton Constable Hall.

Cut-off:

Please note there is a 3 hour cut-off on this race due to road closures in place

Getting There

If runners choose to drive to the event, there are sufficient parking facilities available on-site. Car-sharing will be encouraged where possible for those who do intend to drive if safe to do so, and this will be coordinated with a specialist Facebook group for the runners to communicate.

Emergency access to the Event Village will be possible at all times. If access to the course is required by Emergency vehicles during the race (either to an incident on the course or for requiring access through the course to another location), then this will be supervised by course marshals with emergency vehicles using flashing blue lights. Access to Emergency Vehicles will be possible throughout the race route at all times.

Parking

There will be free on site parking available. Please arrive early as with many sporting events, there may be queues on arrival.

Event Village Opens

Baggage

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

There will be portable toilets available in the event village and on the Half Marathon course.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water provided during the race, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post-race goodies and medal.

There will be 3 water stations on the route that runners will be able to access.

The water station will be constantly manned by experienced marshals. Used bottles will be collected throughout the morning by marshals and disposed of safely following the event.

A final litter sweep of the entire course will be completed before leaving the venue post-event. The used plastic from the water stations will be emptied and recycled following the event.

Race Pack Collection

HM 7:30-8:30am

10K 8:00-9:00am

Warm-Up & Race Start

There will be a group warm-up 15 minutes prior to the start of each race. From here, we will call out estimated finish times to get all runners lined up and ready to run.

Spectators are more than welcome, we advise staying in the event village where you will be able to catch the start & finish.

Accessibility

Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome and simply asked to remain mindful of the runners around you and make yourself known should you need to overtake. Dogs are not permitted to run at this event, however spectators are welcome to have their dog within the event village if kept on a lead at all times.
