Join us for the Clapham Common 5k, 10k & Half Marathon on Sunday 26th September 2027

Run around the flat paths of the beautiful Clapham Common and take the opportunity to go for a personal best.

As always with RunThrough, you will each get a themed medal, water & post race goodies on the day. Each kilometre is accurately marked out with distance flags and we have plenty of helpers to keep you on track and to encourage you on your way to the finish!

The Course

The majority of the route is on footpaths in the park running past Clapham Common Bandstand on route.

Event Information

During the race:

We will have marshals all around the course as well as KM signs and arrows. Please be aware that there will be spectators and members of the public using the park – be aware of people walking, dogs & bikes.

Other things to note:

There WILL be pedestrians, please be aware of people, dogs & cyclists. We have marshals around the course and signs but this is not a road race, you have to pay very close attention to where you are going. We do not recommend you use earphones and you need to pay close attention to everything around you. The race takes place in a busy public common and we can have no control over stray dogs or people running the opposite direction etc so please be aware of your surroundings.

Getting There

• By Car: Get the full directions https://www.google.com/maps/dir/?api=1&destination=51.45662400000001,-0.1503953 .

• By Train : The Common is around 1 mile from Clapham Junction. So if you want to get the overground, you can either take a stroll (warm up?) or take the 35, 37, or 345 bus.

• By Tube: Clapham Common Tube or Clapham South Tube is approximately a 5-minute walk from the start line.

• By Foot : There is bike parking available within the park, and the site is easily accessible by both foot and bike.

Please, wherever possible walk, jog, run, cycle or use public transport when attending the event. If you do have to drive, please consider car-sharing to reduce our impact on both the environment and other park users. Please also watch out for other park users when arriving and leaving.

Parking

There is no race parking for this event. We would recommend using public transport to get to the event village.

Baggage

We will have a secure bag drop marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets

There will be portable toilets available in the event village. Unfortunately there are no toilets positioned on course, but the route will pass by our event village where our portaloos are located.

Water & Refreshments

There will be water provided at every 5k point of the race, and water at the finish alongside other post race goodies!
