Located 25km South of Lucerne, the picturesque town of Engelberg almost doesn’t seem real.
The cobbled streets, beautiful swiss hotels and 900 year old Benedictine Monastery are surrounded by rolling green pastures, out of which rise the titanic glaciated mountain peaks. This valley is truly magical and with 500km of trails to choose from you will not be disappointed. We have combined runnable trails with big elevation to create a range of challenges to suit everyone’s running aspirations.
The 25K, 59K and 100K routes all pass through the stunning Fürenalp valley before heading out towards Brunni and beyond. The trails are immaculate and the terrain is truly world class. The phrase ‘hidden gem’ doesn’t even get close…

100K: Saturday 22nd August @ 06:00 (24hr cut-off)
59K: Saturday 22nd August @ 08:00 (14hr cut-off)
25K: Saturday 22nd August @ 10:00 (8hr cut-off)

T-Shirts at events have become a hot topic with concerns around the quality not being high enough to wear on a regular basis. We have decided to tackle this by offering a RunThrough Kit Technical T-Shirt with a retail value of £22 for £12 with the addition of the Trails Engelberg logo printed on the chest.
We can do this with our partner RT Kit as part of a strategic decision to raise awareness about the quality of the product whilst reducing the overall cost of events for those who would prefer not to have a t-shirt included.
