We are excited to return this 10k event to the North East! This ROAD CLOSED race is flat, fast and holds great pb potential. Follow in the footsteps of the 1500m World Champion, and world Record Holder, and all time running legend Steve Cram, by joining us in this event partnered with Jarrow and Hebburn Athletics Club, starting and finishing on Monkton Athletics Track.
**There is a 90min cut off due to road closures**

We have been extensively researching into what runners consider important, and sustainability is fast becoming the most important area. Click HERE to see what RunThrough is doing for sustainability.
T-Shirts at events have been a hot topic mainly around them not being of high enough quality to wear on a regular basis. So we have decided to tackle this by offering a T-Shirt (CLICK HERE) with a retail value of £22 for £12 with the addition of the event logo printed on the chest.
We can do this with our partner RT Kit as part of a strategic decision to not only raise awareness about the quality of the product but also to counteract the increasing costs incurred in event production in a post-COVID world.

Each KM is accurately marked out with distance flags and we have plenty of helpers to keep you on track and to encourage you on your way to the finish.

The Jarrow 10k will be the 10th event in the RunThrough Top Flight Series- an elite level half, open to runners under the qualifying times of:
Men: Sub 33:30 (10k) 72:00 (HM)
Women: Sub 36:45 (10k) 77:30 (HM)
Please note this is a separate race to the masses and will start at 9:00am

RUNTHROUGH EVENT PARTNERS
Baggage
We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your baggage.
Toilets
There will be toilets available in the event village at Monkton Stadium.
Refreshments
There will be water provided at the 5k point of the race, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies🙂
During the race
There will be marshals all around the course as well as km signs and arrows.
Results
Results will be available on www.runthrough.co.uk after the race.
Pictures
We will have a photographer taking a few snaps of the race and they will be on photos after the race so be sure to check it out and see if you can spot yourself.
Things to note!
We recommend you do not use earphones as you need to pay close attention to everything around you and the marshals along the course.
