I made a friend on my second lap at Battersea Park yesterday! So annoyed I didn’t get his name! But I stopped to walk on my second lap and he tapped me on the shoulder and said “c’mon, you can do it!” So I caught up to him and said “I am going to stick with you and you’ll get me to the end” and he did! First long run of the year and OMG it was cold!!! Brixton is one my favourite courses even though it’s really hilly, but today was particularly difficult. Finished in 58:49 so slower than last year, but it was a good run. First race of 2018….flippin freezing so waited in the car till the last minute possible three lap course with hills Got a course PB Good old @keatspeter thought he’d smashed his time when he went over the finish….. only to be told he had one more lap Only Peter!!
