Super chuffed today, I’m never quite sure how a run will go but today it all worked. I was mentally prepared for hills & laps & that helped. I felt good & managed my fastest 5 & 10 in a while (10km was 1.08 ????????). So lovely to see @j_waites @martinrunsmiles thank you so much for cheering me on & for your encouragement on Route it meant the world to me & well done for smashing your own races. Huge shout out & thank you to @runthroughuk as well for another fab event. I haven’t done many of their events but every time I do, I’m blown away by the lovely friendly atmosphere & encouragement on course. Oh and of course the best race flapjacks in the world. Me looking super strong at 0.01 miles. ????. Shout out to the lovely ladies behind me (who were very quickly in front of me) who paced & inspired me for most of the race & who cured my pre-race nerves with friendly chat in the loo queue before the race.
