Today’s run @runthroughuk chase the sun Victoria Park. A late call to enter, but felt confident in my 5K pace after recent ParkRuns. No sun to chase but a PB definitely was. Especially at Vicki a fast and flat route. Felt liked I paced it really good. Felt for the Marshals and volunteers it felt so cold in the rain. Walking out the park and cheering other runners. But really enjoyed my flapjack and chips. #run #running #runner #runners #instarunning #instarun #instarunner #instarunners #runnersofinstagram #runhappy #runninglife #runsquad #runningcommunity #runlove #runnershigh #letsdothis #instagood #wearetherunners #nikerunclub #stayfit #loverunning #sweatybetty #runr #ukrunchat #runthroughuk #chasethesun #personalbest #medal

Wednesday nights in the summer are made for @runthroughuk Chase the Sun races. Victoria Park today, but alas, there was no sun to chase today… just grey damp London skies! ?‍♂️ . . It was still great fun! RunThrough put on the best most friendly races that are well organised and have the most enthusiastic marshals regardless of he weather. Thank you all for another brilliant event! ? . . I ran the 10k. I completely ignored the watch and ran the entire race “feeling” the pace… and guess what? All the splits were pretty even… and I got another PB, my second in 2 weeks! ? I knocked off another 2 minutes from my previous best! . . Not looking at the watch felt great, no fighting to adjust to the “correct” pace, no mind games of seeing the pace and overthinking that it’s too fast or too slow… just running at what felt “right”. I think that the way forward. ?
