On the way over to the Olympic Park tonight, sat on the tube that could ultimately have taken me home, I seriously weighed up whether a medal was enough to make me run. . . Thank goodness these two wonder women said I could run with them. Miles tick off so much quicker when you’re chatting, laughing and telling off the runners who shout at pedestrians happily minding their own business and (rightly) not really giving two hoots that a race is going on on a public footpath! Thanks girls!

So happy! ???? I’m now better than I was before my injury ???? I only shaved a second off my PB but it was totally worth the hard work. It’s only my second race since coming back from my injury so it’s a sign of things to come.
