?‍♀️?? First race of the year done! ???‍♀️ . It was SO much fun to run with these gals this morning. @shellie0055 @megandaniellaruns @emmaruns_ We took on a faster paced 5km- well faster for me anyway, for the rest of them it was super chill but I am so grateful to them for hanging back a bit to help me push myself! ? . I'm a run-walker by trade and a slow one at that so I think this was only like the 4th or 5th 5km I've done without stopping for any walk breaks. I'm not ashamed to admit that but I am super proud and very thankful to Michelle for encouraging me to keep going! What a great start to the year! ? . Now I'm going to resume usual Sunday rest routine before jumping back into full-on crazy work mode tomorrow, gulp.
