Battersea Park 5k & 10k Chase The Moon

5k – 7:00pm
10k – 7:20pm
There maybe ice or slippy conditions on route, which we are sure you’ve encountered during your training runs this week. We will as a team do our upmost to keep the course as safe as possible but we cannot assure this for the entire route. Please take your time around corners, and on downhill stretches. We recommend trail shoes or shoes with lots of grip.
Race pack Collection
**ALL RACE PACKS ARE TO BE COLLECTED ON THE DAY**
All entries will be assigned a number at registration.
To collect your number, make your way down to the collection desks on Wednesday evening.
It will take around 15 minutes to collect your number, so please arrive early.
You will only need one number attached to the front of your shirt.
Your timing chip will be attached to the bottom of your race bib and needs to be attached to your shoe as per the instructions on the back of the chip. Please make sure you keep your number on at all times during the race.
At the finish, you can dispose of your chip (we do not need to collect them back).
Collection Times:
5k – 5:30 – 6:30pm
10k – 5:40 – 6:50pm
When you receive your race packs, please take a couple of minutes to fill out the brief runner Information form which can be found printed on the back of your bib. This will help us greatly in case of an emergency!
Race Start
Each race will have a warm up in the event village 15 minutes prior to the start time.
After the warm up, estimated finish times will be called to the starting pen where our marshals will guide you into a start formation.
During the race
We will have marshals all around the course as well as KM signs and arrows.
The course is 2 laps for the 5k and 4 laps for the 10k on the roads/paths in the park.
Please keep count of your laps during the race.
Please be aware that there will be spectators and members of the public using the park.
For the 10k, green KM signs will be around the course in consecutive order from 1-10. For the 5k, please be aware to look out for red KM signs 1-5.
Please discard any water bottles or rubbish within the litter zones located just past the water station on each lap of the race.
Please be aware this is a nighttime race, we highly recommend wearing Bright High-viz clothing and lights where possible.

After the race
Do NOT stop within the finish area. Please continue through the finish until you pass the medals and are in an open space.
There will be sealed ACTIPH water bottles at the finish for each runner to collect along with your medal, Love Corn and Bounce Bar which will be laid out on tables for you to help yourself.

The park is easily accessible by both foot and cycle. Cycle parking is available in the park.

Toilets
There will be portable toilets available within the event village. If you live locally we recommend using toilets at home.
Baggage
There will be an informal bag drop area within the event village under the bandstand for runners who need it.
Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your baggage.
Refreshments
There is a water station located on the course. Please help yourself to this as you pass this.
There will also be water available at the finish. We recommend staying hydrated in the lead up to the race.
Results
Results will be available on www.runthrough.co.uk after the race.
Pictures
We will have a photographer taking a few snaps of the race, which will be made available on our photos page after the race.
