THE FACE OF TWO GIRLS WHO JUST GOT PBs!!!!!! ?‍♀️???? ? Was so lovely to run with @laurenlouise_j for the first 5km and send her off sprinting to the finish to get her 25min 5km!!! And her first race medal??? I went thinking I’d have a bit of a fun run, and ended up doing a 51:48 10km – the quickest I’ve been in ages and I feel OVER THE MOON! Marathon training gets a bit demotivating cause you’re always running on tired legs, and because you’re slower than you want to be it sometimes makes you feel like you’re weak – but days like this prove the training is paying off!!! Bring on the #ealinghalfmarathon next week!!!! Hopefully I feel this good ??? #run #runner #runthroughuk #10km #5km #race #marathontraining #happy #push #pb #besttime #friends #friendsthatrun #runnerpals #stratford #london #runnerschat #ukrunchat #irunthisbody #follow #mychicagomarathon #pmgcoaching @pmgcoaching

Yay!!! Another big chunk of time off my 10k run time. Dropped another 83 seconds from 2 weeks ago. 38.28 now to average 6.11/ml. Nice and consistent pacing. 5kms in 19.12 and 2nd half in 19.16. 15th overall today and 3rd V45. Some fast runners out in almost perfect conditions. ? My pacing buddy Will had a couple of drinks last night so was suffering a bit today but came home with 40.03 for another solid run. (It’s still 2-1 to you Will! ?) Good to also have Kamil Kosc for support and roped my work colleague Lucy out to do the 5k too. I suppose next target is to try to go sub 6 minute miling again… I’m scared!!! #10krun #runthroughuk #olympicpark #crateloughton #thirdspace #artistathlete #trilife #comebacktrail #londonartist

PB alert!!!! Back at @runthroughuk for a 5k and smashed it in 21:56 for my first sub 22min 5k. And if I can do that while snotty, coughing and struggling to breathe then I know I have a lot left in me…. . Today was mainly a practise of my routine before a race more than the race itself. Get my warm up sorted and for how long, my fuelling, my hydrating… And then the race. Felt good from the start, setting a fast pace before getting to 2.5k and my chest tightening, snot streaming and the constant coughing starting. Had to slow down a little to get the breathing to settle and then smash the last 1k to do my first sub 22min 5k. Helped a little seeing @cuddles1984 on each lap cheering and catching up with @tarikq77 for a quick bike chat before the race. Lovely to see you 2. . 100% these inprovements this year have been down to following the @myprocoach_ plan and advise whenever I needed it. I've trusted the process, worked hard and with PB in every race I've entered this year the evidence hard work pays off is there to see. Also switching to these epic @hokaoneone_eu Rincons has really made a difference to my running style, ground contact is shorter, lift is better and they are so light I can't feel I have them on. Love them. . #hokafans #rincon #runthroughuk #alwaysforward #alwaysearned #gettingthere #strength #fitgoals #rundadrun #thismancan #feelingbetter #strongerthanbefore #strongertogether #instarunners #whyirun #8percent #iwill #duathlete #hokaoneone

My FIRST 5K RUN EXPERIENCE PART 3: Today when I woke up, I was so close to backing out but I didn’t. I told myself if I back out now I will never do it. I made my way to the race nervously. And yes I went on my own. . Looked around and said to myself; there’s all kind of people here today from all age, shapes and forms. I even see a disabled person and thought if this person can do it, so can I. . So I warmed up and went for it. I could see so many people zooming past me and thought to myself, gosh what if I’m last? Then I kept saying to myself, I’ve got this! Just keep going. Breath out consistently. Don’t give up. Just don’t be the last person. ….. I looked back and said, hell no! I best keep going if I don’t want to be last and that worked! ? . So remember guys, mindset is everything! Whatever you want to do, just do it and have faith in yourself and your body will follow. #runthroughuk#instahealth#instarun#active#runchat#instatag#marathon#healthychoices#runners#marathontraining#runningman#runaway#runhappy#instagramanet#trailrunner#furtherfasterstronger#runtoinspire #health#run#trailrunning#instarunner#runner#runway#healthy#fitness#trailrun#running
